It takes a special kind of brave face to be competing in the FC1 Division this summer.

In fact, what’s most notable about Les Braves’ 5-1 victory over FC Rosso this past week, beyond it being eight straight for the undefeated lionesses, is that it also featured just their second goal-against allowed all season. Read that again. Les Braves have surrendered but a measly two goals in eight starts! At this rate, Stefanie Lajoie and company may have to stuff in the odd own-goal to keep up the appearance of competition.
